Tenso P-14 is a self-tensioning connector for gluing wood materials and is anchored in the interlocking P-System grooves in the workpiece within seconds. Tenso P-14 consists of a joining half with powerful tension springs. These anchor themselves in the counterpiece and exert high pressure on the joint. Thanks to this high tension force, the user can bond furniture parts or wood materials without clamps, bobbins, tape or presses. The Tenso presses the joints together at the correct angle, always perpendicular to the cutting angle of the two workpieces. With the Tenso P-14, the user can bond workpieces tremendously fast and save time during the entire production process: efficient milling of the P-System grooves, inserting the connectors by hand and without glue or screws, applying glue and assembling workpieces afterwards. There is no need to wait and an assembled workpiece can immediately be further processed or prepared for shipment. Tenso P-14 is completely concealed, allowing workpieces to be manufactured with perfect aesthetics without a visible joint. Like the tried-and-tested Lamello system, the connector can be used at virtually any joint angle. This means that obtuse, pointed or flat corners can be joined. The connector is therefore often used as a gluing aid for workpieces that are difficult to clamp. The pre-tensioning clamp can possibly be used when mitre joints have to be glued or when, for larger parts, several connectors have to be mounted in succession at the same time. The prestressing clamp increases lateral clearance when assembling and reduces the force required to join the Tenso P-14. Blunt joints from a material thickness of 15 mm. Mitre joints from a material thickness of 18 mm.
